Celestial Analogue
Celestial Analogue is an ideal representation of the illusive and immeasurable Milky Way. A circling pattern of elements form the work’s spatial surface and draw the viewer into an aesthetic state of bliss and awe.
Assembled from hand cut, painted and folded recycled cardboard, Celestial Analogue extends Waterson’s fascination with geometric families and forms evident in her Bloom Series 2009, Taking Flight 2010 and Scale Screen 2012. Celestial Analogue is the artwork that inspired Waterson’s Stellar Collection for TAIT.
