Thread Screen

Traditional embroidery and beading techniques were used to assemble Thread Screen. These were skills taught to Waterson by her Grandmother and Mother at a young age. Both the scale of the elements and the non-traditional materials Waterson uses transcend the craft to create a highly structured contemporary screen.
